Registration Options
ALA and ALCTS are committed to supporting our members, staff, and all librarians and library workers during these uncertain times. We will continue to offer online learning opportunities, including webinars and the Exchange 2020, and will do our best to accommodate the remote needs of our attendees. It has been necessary to change our Institutional Registration model due to the enforced separation policy. We will be only offering Group Registration with increased users participation, up to ten (10) single user to access the live stream over all three days.
Registration Type | Includes | Early Bird Extended Thru May 1, 2020 | Late Rate Starting May 2, 2020 |
---|---|---|---|
Group | Up to (10) user logins to access the live stream over all three days | $475 | $515 |
Group Registration Includes:
- Up to ten (10) single user to access the live stream over all three days.
- Unlimited user account creation on the Exchange event site. Members of the group are encouraged to create their own user accounts and participate in the event’s discussions and non-streaming content.
Need Additional Live Stream Logins? Groups can purchase additional users for the live stream at a rate of $125 per user. To learn more, contact the registration staff at tferren@ala.org or call 312-280-5038.
Responsibilities of the Group Leader
The person who registers on behalf of their group will be known as the “group leader.” The group leader will receive all event correspondence and will share it with their members. All members of the group will be able to create their own individual login accounts to the Exchange 2020 site. However, access to the live stream presentations is limited to the number of live stream user accounts that the group has paid for.
Live Stream User Access Policy
Only eligible live stream users may access the live stream sessions at any time during the three-day event. Additional registration charges may be billed to groups if there is evidence of multiple user access to live stream sessions beyond what was purchased.
Event Experience
Exchange 2020 participants will have access to the content on the Exchange event site
- in the days leading up to the event
- during the event
- and up to one year following the event
Exchange event site login access will enable eligible users to engage in online discussions, participate in pre-event and post-event activities, and access non-live streaming content such as recorded presentations.
Live Stream login access will enable eligible users to log into the live stream presentations during the three days of the event. Live stream access is strictly limited to individual registrants designated group leaders.
